The Design Files

With all the net surfing I seem to do, I must admit there is one site I continually go back to, for inspiration and information, always interesting and up to date with the latest in what is happening and where, The Design Files are a constant source of outstanding Australian Design information.  Am I too old to have a hero? – well before anyone answers that – I have one, Lucy Feagins.  Lucy is the person behind The Design Files blog and is rapidly becoming not only famous on the net, but her first editorial stylist work can be seen in this months Inside out Magazine.  Lucy is a props buyer/set dresser in the film industry in Melbourne.  The site is updated daily, and Lucy is regularly interviewing some of Australia’s most talented designers, artists and creative professionals.  Their is no doubt that she herself is just like the people she interviews and I am sure we will be seeing her name pop up more and more over the year. I was just a ‘little’ bit excited last year when Lucy wrote a post about mybowerbird, here is what she had to say.
